TCEQ SAYS NO LONGER HAVE TO BOIL WATER IN HUNTSVILLE

On February 17, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Huntsville public water system to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees due to conditions which occurred recently in the system.

The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by the system and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of February 20, 2021.

If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact the Director of Public Works, Brent Sherrod, P.E. or Assistant Director, Kimberly Kembro at 936-294-5707, 448 State Hwy 75N, Huntsville Texas 77320.
