BEARKATS WIN FCS CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY

In what turned out to be an “edge-of-your-seat” game, the Sam Houston Bearkats beat the South Dakota Jackrabbits by a score of 23 to 21 Sunday. The championship winning touchdown came with a 10-yard touchdown pass with only 16 seconds left on the clock.

This is the Bearkats first FCS national championship. Sam Houston coach K.C. Keeler has become the first head coach to win an FCS Championship title at multiple schools.
