The Huntsville City Council will meet for a regular session this evening at six at City Hall. Previous to the meeting at 5:30, councilmembers will have a workshop to receive information on the Waterstone Development Corporation/MUD Request.
At their regular session, councilmembers will hear a presentation on TxDOT I-45 Construction Traffic Control.
During Tonight’s “Consent Agenda,” Public Works Director Brent Sherrod will discuss entering into a contract with Texas Pride Utilities for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewer lines in various locations.
Tonight’s “Statutory Agenda” includes a First Reading where City Engineer Ram Ramachandra will discuss adopting an ordinance on changing the Veterans Memorial Parkway and Smither Drive intersection traffic control to an All-Way STOP.
Also on the same agenda, Economic Development Director Tammy Gann and City Manager Aron Kulhavy will discuss considering a Chapter 380 agreement with Zinc Point Manufacturing/Still American to incentive capital investment and job creation through a waiver of permit fees, grants of funds and financial incentive for job creation.
