In Huntsville Police news over the weekend:
Last Friday, police investigated a vehicle burglary in the 100 block of I-45 South. A handgun was found in the 1700 block of 19th Street. In a domestic case in the 3200 block of Elks Drive, a known person impeded their victim’s breathing. In two cases of criminal mischief, one in the 3000 block of Sam Houston and another in the 600 block of Sam Houston, vehicles were damaged by an unknown person. In the 1900 block of Veterans, Randolph Thompson was arrested on two counts of intoxicated assault with a vehicle and three counts of injury to a child.
On Saturday in the 2200 block of Sam Houston, Kevin Beckwith was arrested on a parole warrant.
On Sunday, police investigated an aggravated assault in the 1100 block of Sycamore. In the 100 block of I-45 South, Andrew Myers was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in family violence and two counts of endangering a child.
